It can be easy to think you don't need an eye cream because you already use face lotion, or because you do not have eye wrinkles yet, but that would be a mistake. Eye cream should be an essential part of everyone's skin care routine. The skin around our eyes is thin and delicate and is easily susceptible to damage because of it. Our eyes need specialized ingredients formulated specifically for our fragile eye area to either correct damage, or prevent it.
The key to avoiding eye irritation from eye creams:
DO: Only apply the eye cream on your orbital bone. You can feel the orbital bone all the way around your eyes. The eye cream will soak in and do it's job from there.
DON'T: Rub in the eye cream all over your eyes, or get too close to the lash line. You are setting yourself up for eye irritation.
