Meet Madeleine
Madeleine helped AOS launch its online presence 10 years ago before she took a few years off to be a full-time mom to her two little ones. Now she is putting all that past experience to work as our Director of Operations! Over the years many of you have received notes from her in your packages, live chatted about your orders, called in your orders to her over the phone, and received skincare advice from her in consultations. She now uses that experience to unite our teams and keep us all working in the same direction.
When she isn't at the office she can be found Roller Skating with her 5-year-old while pushing the 1-year-old in the jogger. She is also an excellent textile artist and hand dyes-yarn to be woven into fabric on her floor loom. Madeleine brings this creativity and innovation with her to work each day.

A: Director of Operations
Q: What’s your daily skin routine?
A: I am a single Mom so simple and easy is great for me, but I like to set aside special time to pamper myself with products that smell amazing and help me feel pampered.
Q: What are your favorite/Holy Grail skincare products?
A: Currently, I am in love with NeoGenesis Booster Serum. Even after one use, I felt like it filled in those little signs of aging we start to see in our 30s but can’t quite put a finger on.
Q: What is your skin type?
A: Normal to Dry, mildly blemish prone
Q: What are your skincare concerns?
A: Early signs of aging, small sunspots, keeping maturation arrest hormonal breakouts at bay
Q: What’s your morning skincare routine?
18. A: Most mornings I rush to get myself out the door while juggling two young kids. I love the ease of cleansing with Nelly De Vuyst Micellar Foam. It doesn’t even matter if you don’t thoroughly rinse, just splash and go! I follow with Dr. Esthe Vita-C Radiance Ampoule, Sorella Main Squeeze Hydrating Serum, and Sorella Quench and Protect SPF 30.
Q: What’s your nighttime skincare routine?
A: If I have crabby kids, I use the Nelly De Vuyst foam again but if I have the time to spend a few extra minutes on myself, I go for Rhonda Allison Skin Brightening Cleanser. I massage it into my skin dry before emulsifying with water and infusing with My Skin Buddy. The scent is amazing! I follow that with Skin Script Glycolic and Retinol Pads, then apply NeoGenesis Booster Serum and Sorella Blueberry Milk Moisturizer. I also recommend using Neogenesis Eye Serum around both the eyes and lips to fill in fine lines.
Q: Where is your dream vacation spot?
A: I want to go to South East Asia! I want to eat amazing food in Thailand and visit the incredible beaches of Bali.
Q: Coffee or tea? And why?
A: Coffee… I’m a single mom need I say more?
Q: When you were little, what did you want to be?
A: Rainbow Brite, no question. That rainbow horse just sealed the deal.
Q: What’s your greatest guilty pleasure?
A: The TV show DC’s Legends of Tomorrow… oh, it’s so cheesy. I’m embarrassed even to say how much I love a plate of cookies and a Legends binge.
