How to design a home care protocol that will transform your skin from good to great!

Clients often ask: Is it truly possible to change the texture and condition of my skin?  My answer is, yes!  With the correct home care regimen, you can see great improvement in the skin.

Designing your own Home Care Regimen

Links to my sample regimen, by brand, for specific skin conditions are listed above. While choosing the best home care regimen for your skin can be intimidating, I hope that my diagrams are helpful. Keep in mind that there are many products that will work for your skin. Sample Basic Skin Care Regimen

for those that only want or need a very basic routine

AM

1. Cleanse

2. Tone (using a 2” toner pad)

3. Moisturizer

4. Optional: Eye Care

5. Sun Protection

PM

1. Cleanse

2. Tone (using a 2” toner pad)

3. Growth Factor Serum (choose the appropriate one for your skin type)

4. Optional: Eye Care

Weekly

1. Scrub and/or Enzyme Mask

Sample Advanced Skin Care Protocol

for correcting issues such as dark pigmentation, blemishes, sun-damaged and premature aging

AM

1. Cleanse

2. Scrub (2 to 3 times per week)

3. Tone (using a 2” toner pad)

4. Corrective Serum – Whether you are concerned about aging, hyper-pigmentation, blemishes or sun damage; choose a Corrective Serum that best addresses your concerns.

5. Nourishing Serum - Choose from among antioxidants, peptides and growth factors to keep your skin healthy and well fed.

6. Moisturize

7. Eye Care

8. Daily Sun Protection – It is imperative that you find a daily SPF that you enjoy using. The sun causes the degradation of collagen in your skin and is the #1 cause of premature aging.

PM

1. Cleanse

2. Tone

3. Corrective Serum – SVitamin A/Retinal or AHA/BHA correctives, depending on the skin condition you wish to correct.

4. Nourishing Serum

5. Moisturizer 

6. Eye & Lip Care

Once per Week – Home Facial

1. Cleanse

2. Enzyme or Fruit Acid Mask

3. Nourishing Serum

4. Nourishing Mask

5. Moisture: choose a growth factor serum or a light nourishing oil
